The Vitra Museum in Weil-am-Rhein Germany, designed by Herzog & de Meuron is a fantastic building, a playground for an architect with a camera or two.
Parking spaces are defined by concrete pavers with open cells where grass grows. Trees are perfectly spaced to create shade for furniture-curious visitors. A frozen bird flies over this area admiring the colors that are brought by mechanical boxes that humans use to travel.
