After a brutal winter, the prairie violently burst in colors announcing the spring arrival. Searching for a bluebonnets field, in Brennan, I found this one instead. The aerial point of view revealed a tapestry of yellow wildflowers of Texas and green grasses weaving an intricate pattern. A cattle water-trough offers scale to the composition and hydration to the noble roamers of this land.
